T41 4759A000700010070-3 This report is one in a series on Soviet Ground Force and Logistic installations being prepared for a DIA/CIA Panel. The series is being coordinated, published and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group, the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production Center iPla (DIA). The photographic analysis for this particular re- port was performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group. In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report. The area is covered on TALENT photog- TCS-80404/65 analysis reveals numerous changes between Facilities constructed 25X1 D during this period include an administration/ support building, 11 storage buildings, 4 pos- sible ammunition storage buildings, 15 support buildings, and a 6-gun AAA site. A tank/assault- gun range was converted to a probable vehicle- mounted automatic-weapons range, and a figure- 8 wheeled-vehicle driver-training course was activated during this period. Between a secured motor park was 25X1 D constructed. Track activity is light to medium on all coverage. DESCRIPTION OF INSTALLATION Road Service A primary all-weather road provides access to Feodosiya. Administration and Troop Housing Area Area D contains an administration/support building and 5 support buildings. Tank/Assault-Gun Firing Range Two moving-target runs are located in the northwestern part of the training area (Area N), but these do not appear active on any coverage. Artillery Emplacements (Batteries) 25X1 D Area Q contains a 6-gun AAA site which was constructed between _ It does not appear to be active. Special Training Facilities Area S is a probable vehicle-mounted auto- matic-weapons firing range and contains 4 moving-target runs, 2 probable moving-target runs, a loop road, and 3 static firing positions. The maximum distance from the loop road to the moving-target runs is 2,400 feet. This facility was first observed on photography of when it was used for tank/assault guns.
