The series is being coordinated, published and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group, the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production Center 1Pla (DIA). The photographic analysis for this particular re- port was performed by the NPIC Photographic. Analysis Group. In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report. The installation covers approximately 197 acres and contains 3 administration buildings, 9 barracks, 3 probable quarters, 93 storage buildings, 30 support buildings, 2 heavy repair shops, 1 separately secured motor park, a steam plant, 2 rail-served unloading areas (1 with a traveling overhead crane), open storage areas, and a small-arms firing range (Figures 2 and 3). The area sions between change in the facilities is observed and the instal- lation appears active on all coverage. The installation is served by 2 spurs from the double-tracked Moscow-Tula rail line. The spurs lead to the unloading areas. Administration and Troop Housing Area Area D contains 1 administration building, 3 multistory barracks, 6 barracks, 3 probable quarters, and 11 support buildings. General Storage Areas Area El contains 63 storage buildings, 1 steam plant, 7 support buildings, and an open storage and unloading area with a traveling overhead crane. Area E2 contains 30 storage buildings, 2 administration buildings, and 3 support build- ings. Equipment Storage/ Maintenance Area Area J contains 2 monitor-roof heavy repair shops (460 by 230 feet and 300 by 180 feet), 9 support buildings, and an irregularly shaped motor park (200 by 230 feet and 100 by 80 feet). Small-Arms Firing Range Area L is a 700- by 65-foot small-arms firing range.
