The series is being coordinated, published and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group, the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production Center iPla (DIA). The photographic analysis for this particular re- port was performed by the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division. In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report. This installation covers approximately 145 acres and contains 6 administration buildings, 28 barracks, 1 probable administration building, 20 storage buildings, 21 support buildings, 8 quar- ters, 9 vehicle sheds, 3 vehicle maintenance buildings, a vehicle park, an athletic field, a small-arms firing range, a probable obstacle TCS-80781/65 course, a swimming pool, and 3 unidentifiedex- 25X1 D cavations (Figures 2 and 3). The installation was covered by IFALENT 25X1 D EYHOLE mis- 25X1,D 25X1 D sions between No significant changes were observed in the fa- cilities during this period. A high rate of ac- tivity was sustained on all coverage. Equipment Storage/ Maintenance Areas Area J1 contains 2 vehicle maintenance buildings, each 110 by 60 feet, 1 vehicle shed, and 1 storage building, 280 by 45 feet. One cargo truck was observed in this area on_ -coverage. Area J2 contains a vehicle park, 240 by 180 feet. Approximately 119 FA pieces were observed on coverage. Area J3 contains 1 vehicle maintenance building, 110 by 80 feet; 2 vehicle sheds, one 270 by 35 feet and one 160by35 feet; and 3 sup- port buildings. Two cargo trucks and 14 vehi- cles/pieces of equipment were observed in this area on coverage. Area J4 contains 4 vehicle sheds, 100 by 30 feet, 340 by 35 feet, 140 by 35 feet, and 160 by 30 feet, and 1 support building. Eleven cargo trucks, 2 utility trucks, and 7 pieces of equipment were observed in this area on overage. Area J5 contains 2 vehicle sheds, 230 by 35 feet and 170 by 35'feet. All-weather roads provide access to Chir- chik and to the Chirchik Training Area. Administrative and Troop Housing Areas Area D1 contains 2 single-story admin- istration buildings, 4 single-story barracks, and 2 support buildings. Area D2 contains 1 single-story probable administration building, 4 multistory admin- istration buildings, 20 single-story barracks, 4 multistory barracks, 8 quarters, 6 storage buildings, and 15 support buildings. General Storage Areas Area El contains 10 probable storage buildings. Area E2 contains 3 probable storage build- ings.
