The series is being coordinated, published and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group, the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production Center 1Pla (DIA). The photographic analysis for this particular re- port was performed by the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report. The area encompasses approximately 1, 300 acres and contains 179 buildings including 7 ad- ministration, 61 probable barracks, 4 probable ammunition storage, 9 probable general storage, Road Service Primary roads connect the installation to the streets of Karauya. Administration and Troop Housing Areas Area Dl contains an administration build- ing, 8 probable barracks, and 3 support build- ings. Area D2 contains an I-shaped administra- tion building and 2 support buildings. Area D3 contains a U-shaped administra- tion building, 28 probable barracks, and 19 sup- port buildings. Area D4 contains a T- shaped administration building, 7 probable barracks, and 2 support buildings. Area D5 contains 16 probable barracks, 29 support buildings, and an athletic oval. Area D6 contains 2 T-shaped adminis- tration buildings, 5 probable storage buildings, and 5 support buildings. General Storage Area Area E contains 4 probable general storage buildings. 6 probable vehicle/maintenance storage sheds, 92 support, a flat-trajectory moving target range, a probable open storage area/motor 25X1 D park, and an athletic oval (Figures 2 and 3). - KEYHOLE missions of interpretable quality covered this installation in - Comparative analysis indi- cates year round occupancy and activity. Ammunition Storage Area Area F contains 4 probable ammunition storage buildings (one 200 by 80 feet and three 100 by 80 feet). A road connects the ammunition storage area to the firing range. Other Buildings Eleven miscellaneous support buildings are scattered throughout the installation. Equipment Storage /Maintenance Areas Area J1 contains 1 administration building, 6 probable vehicle maintenance/storage build- ings (280 by 75 feet and 200 by 60 feet), 2 prob- able barracks, and 19 support buildings. Area J2 contains a probable open storage area/motor park (1,900 by 900 feet), and 2 sup- port buildings. Flat-Trajectory Firing Ranges Area P contains a flat-trajectory firing range, 2,600 feet long, with 4 targets. The fa- cility is used winter and summer.
