The series is being coordinated, published and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group, the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production Center 1Pla (DIA). The photographic analysis for this particular re- port was performed by the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division., In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report. The areas cover approximately 670 acres and contain 1 multistory administration build- ing, 1 administration building, 4 administration- type buildings, 21 barracks/support buildings, 16 quarters-type housing units, 26 storage buildings, 11 storage/light fabrication buildings, 6 probable explosives storage buildings, 3prob- Rail service is available in Yuzhno-Sakha- linsk. Road Service Secondary, all-weather roads connect the installations to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Administration and Troop Housing Areas Area Dl contains 1 multistory administra- tion building and 5 support buildings. Area D2 contains 1 administration build- ing, 21 barracks/support buildings, 16 quar- ters-type housing units, and 19 support build- ings. POL Storage Area Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Petroleum Storage Listvenichnoye is located 15 km south. TOP SECRET RUFF Equipment Storage/Maintenance Area Area J contains three 265-by 50-foot prob- able vehicle sheds, a 380- by 170-foot probable motor park, and 6 support buildings. TCS-81400/65 Unidentified Facilities or Tracking Activity Area Ti contains an unidentified excavation which is probably industrial in nature. Area T2 contains a possible small res- ervoir. Area T3 contains 3 circular revetments. Area T4 contains 7 unidentified objects.
