Five AAICV were observed at Borisov Training Area and Range West on photography. Three were on tank firing lanes and two were parked adjacent to the tank ranges. Nine other AAICV were tentatively identified within a vehicle storage area at Minsk Army Barracks Uruchye AL-I oni photography. 25X1 D The AAICV M1967, which was first displayed in the November 1967 Moscow parade, combines the features of a light tank and an armored personnel carrier (see Figure I). It is capable of carrying eight troops and is armed with a 76mm gun, a 7.62mm machine gun, and a Sagger antitank guided missile. (TOP SECRET RUFF) FIGURE 7. The plants at Fu-shun, Lan-chou, Pao-tou, aid Tzu-po remain the only ones in operation. These plants have a total f 4 potrooms, all of which were observed in 25X1 D operation during the Iperiod. 1-he plants at Ho-fei, Ju19-yang, Kuei-yang, and Lan-chi, which have a total of 6 potrooms, remlin inactive.
