Haeju Area Early Warning Radar, North Korea

1. In response to the referenced requirement, an effort was made
to locate radar facilities within a 15 nautical mile (nm) radius of
geographic coordinates 38-OON 125-30E, approximately 10 nm west-southwest
of Haeju, North Korea.
2. The lack of recent, high-resolution photography prevents a
complete search of the area. The small portion (approximately 10
percent) of the search area that was examined failed to disclose any
evidence of radar facilities.
3. Questions concerning this project may be directed to the imagery
analyst, of the China, North Korea Branch, EGD/IEG,
on extension This project is considered to be complete
