1. In responae to the referenced requirement, a search of all photography
covering the Chang Feng Park, Shanghai, China, subsequent tol was e,2.5X1 D
amined to verify new construction in the park and to determine the purpose of
such construction.
2. The park was located through the use of map sheet CIA 52352, 9-65
(West Sheet). The location conforms to the coordinates in the reference.
3. The search area was covered only on small-scale photography, the inter-
pretability of which is rated good.
4. The study revealed an area of construction activity at the east edge of
the park which is chronologically described below:

There is no apparent change in this facility on photography of
The scale of the photography precludes a determination of the
function of the activity; however, it is probably associated with the
installation located along the east edge of the park, which appears
institutional in nature.
No other construction activity can be identified in the immediate
area of the Chang Feng Park during the referenced time interval.
5. Questions regarding this project may be directed to the imagery
analyst, of the China, North Korea Branch, EGD/IEG, on
