1. In response to the above referenced re wire nt a s

identify all new major construction of roads and bridges.
2. The study revealed that 16 new brid es and a

nautical miles (nm) of road were constructed between and 2 5X1 D

possible for vehicles to traverse the en ire distance between Linchih and
Latzu (Lhatse Dzong) with extreme difficulty in motoring being encountered
fx?om 29-04N 092-19E to 29-o3N 092-12E where the road is presently connected
by trails. and road construction is in process. In addition to the above
location, five areas were observed periodically to be disrupted due to wash-
outs. Numerous sma11 tent camps are located near these areas and undoubted-
ly house maintenance crews.
