1. This memorandum responds to an NSA request for a photographic
analysis of a TV/microwave route reportedly located between Ryazan and
Saratov, USSR.
2. The results of this study ' re inconclusive. Only the following
five of the fourteen suspect TV/micowave facilities could be confirmed
on available photography:

The Tamala and Rasskozovo facilities have similar photographic
signatures. The other three facilities may be portions of other
microwave routes and do not appear to be similar to Tamala and Rasskozovo.
Microwave antenna elements could be seen. Photographs of the five
confirmed facilities are included as attachments. The tower heights
given above are accurate to +3 meters.
3. This project is considered to be complete. Any further inquiries
