SUBJECT TV/Microwave Locations Between Novobataysk and Volgograd,

1. This memorandum responds to a NSA request for a photographic
analysis of TV/microwave facilities reportedly located between Novobataysk
and Volgograd, USSR.
2. All available photography through was searched,2 5X1
but limited interpretability precluded identification of TV microwave ele-
ments at 12 of the requested 14 microwave relay locations. The Kotelnikovo
TV/Microwave Facility was identified in and the Volgograd TV/Micro- 25X1
wave Facility was identified i in both cases, the facilities 25X1
contained a lattice-type tower; owever, no antenna elements were discernible.
No additional details for either facility were observed on all available
photography through
