1. This memorandum answers the referenced NSA request for the
following information: a) the type of TALL KING radar at the Tomsk and
Kapustin Yar SA-5 complexes and b) the coordinates, the latest date the
complex was observed when no radar was present (negation), and the latest
observed date of the TALL KING radars at SA-5 complexes at Babayevo, Baku,
Kapustin Yar-, Nizhniy Tagil, Sary-Shagan B03-S, Tomsk, Valday, and
Volgograd. The first observed date of each radar is also provided.
2. The TALL KING radar at Tomsk is a standard, building-mounted
version. The TALL KING. radar at Kapustin Yar is the field-transportable
version.
