1. In response to the referenced requirement, an area within a
15-nautical-mile (nm) radius of 22-11N 100-49E, near Che-li, China,
was searched on photography to locate radar and communications
equipment.
2. Ninety percent of the search area was covered on small scale
photography of The photography was of fair
interpretability.
3. A previously identified air warning radar facility
is within the search area at 22-21-OON 100-58-OOE, but interpretability of
the photography precluded determination of the site's current status.
4. A possible radar site may be located at 22-22-30N 100-56-35E.
This possible site is road served and situated on a ridge. It consists of
several buildings and an unidentified object in an open area along the
service road. High-resolution photography would be required to determine
the status of the area.

5. Another early warning radar facility is approximately 25X1
15 nm southwest of Che-li. This site is 9 nm outside the search area.
