1. In response to the referenced requirement, a search was
made within the Leningrad Air Defense District for air warning
radar sites within 15 nautical miles (nm) of the following
place names and coordinates:
Saare
Luidja
Likhula/Risti Airfield
Haapsalu Airfield
Narva
57-57N 022-05E
58-55N 022-12E
58-43N 023-47E
58-55N 023-30E
59-23N 028-25E
2. Recent photography covered approximately 10
percent of the Likhula/Risti Airfield area, approximately 30
percent of the Haapsalu Airfield area, and approximately 70
percent of the Narva area. In addition, these areas were
searched on the latest photography. The other two
areas were covered only by photography.
3. No previously unreported radar sites were observed.

the Luidja search area, Kopu Air Warning Radar Facility (BE
25X1 I I was observed at 58-55-40N 022-02-50E, but no
order-of-battle readout could be made because of the 0 25X1
photography. 25X1
5. Two air warning radar sites are just outside the search
area. Narva AW Radar Facility Low Altitude is 25X1
18 nm from the center of the Narva search area at 59-43-1ON
028-28-45E. On photography of the site contained 25X1
two SQUAT EYE radars, two THIN SKIN radars, and four FORK REST
antennas. Haapsalu Probable AW Radar Facility TALL KING (BE
25X1 is 16 nm from the center of the Haapsalu Airfield
search area at 59-13-30N 023-31-20E. This site is now con-
firmed as a TALL KING radar facility, but a readout was not
possible because of the photography. 25X1
6. This project is considered to be complete. Any new or
previously unreported AW radar sites will be reported in
future OAK and OAK Supplement reports. Questions regarding this
