This report covers three mining areas near Shih-tsui-shan, China.
These areas are located at approximately 39 36N - 106 57E, 39 32N - 106 35E,
and 39 1ON - 106 15E and henceforth in this report; they will be referred
to as Areas No. 1, 2, and 3.

All three areas appeared active on all referenced photographic
missions. The rail spur connecting Area No. 2 to the main rail line does
not appear to be complete; however, the Area No. 2 appears to be active.
All three areas appeared to be self contained with worker housing and
support areas in each area; however, only Area No. 1 appears to contain
ore concentration facilities.
