The OrenbuY~g Petroleum Products Plant is located on the northern
edge of the city of Orenburg, USSR and on the east bank of the Sakmara
river (Figures 1 and 2~. Approximate geographic coordinates for the
center of this plant are 51 40 20N - 55 06 l0E and its orientation is
east southeast west northwest.
The plant is approx:innately rectangular in shape with maximum
dimensions of 3,200 feet by 1,880 feet. Several spurs from the Orenburg-
Kuybyshev railroad. system enters the plant area. The installation is
also served by road. Tile basic plant area has not changed greatly

The limits of and the various processing and support facilities
within the Orenburg plant are shown on Figure 4.
The annotations on Figure 4 correspond to the following discussion of
facilities present at the plant:
