Six of these installations have been selected for the report in an attempt to identify similarities between the installations. They are Bryansk Ordnance Depot Bryansk II, located in the Moscow Military District; Kegichevka Ordnance Depot Territorium, located in the Kiyev Military District; an ordnance depot and machine plant in Tbilisi, located in the Transcaucasus Military District; Omsk Ordnance and Ammunition Depot PUG, located in the Siberian Military District; Staraya Kuka Ammunition Depot SW 25 and Khabarosk Ordnance Depot Krasnaya Reckha 154, located in the ar East 25 Military District. All but the Tbilisi installation were at least double secured by fences with fire breaks and guard towers located between the fences. Internal security was present in some of the installations but lacking in others. All depots were rail served and contained a large number of storage buildings capable of storing vehicles or equipment. Field artillery pieces were observed in all installations but Kegichevka. Most of the equipment observed on 25 photography was not present on earlier coverage indicating either 25 a change in function of the installation to include the storage of vehicles and equipment or an increase of the quantity of material beyond that which can be housed. The depots analyzed in this report are but a few that probably exist in the Soviet Union. Large numbers of pieces of equipment are also observed at depots in Kamenets.Podolskiy and Nezhin but quality of the photography precludes identification. All measurements have been made by the CIA/IAD analyst. They should not be construed as being mensuration data compiled by the NPIC Technical Intelligence Division.
