Two facilities in the Kun-ming Military Region have been newly identified as the sitf probable is the site of one probable hardened antenna. It is at hardened antennas. The Ping-yuan-chieh Probable Command/Control Facility 23-43-55N 103-52-20E, 2.7 nautical miles (nm) east-northeast of the reference point at Ping-yuan-chieh Airfield The Kuei-yang/ Lei-chuang Probable Command/Control Facility The probable hardened antenna was first observed in pla other probable hardened antenna. It is at 26-25-45N 106-33-20E, 1.7 nm northeast of the reference point at Kuei-yang/Lei-chuang Airfield 2. The Ping-yuan-chieh Probable Command/Control Facility (Figures 1. and 3) consists of one underground bunker with a single entrance and one support building. HF communications antennas include two quadrant antennas, a vertical radiator, and four horizontal dipole antennas. Four 10-foot masts, supporting antenna feedlines, are on pedestals on top of the underground bunker. The ground scar for the hardened antenna is 150 feet long with a long axis 3. The Kuei-yang/Lei-chuang Probable Command/Control Facility (Figures 2 and 4) also consists of one underground bunker with a single entrance and a support building. HF communications antennas at this facility include four vee antennas and 14 horizontal dipole antennas. The long axis azimuth of the probable hardened antenna is 120/300 degrees, and the length of the open trench 4. The facility at Ping-yuan-chieh was initially observed under construction 5. The facility at Kuei-yang/Lei-chuang was first observed under construction The proba is the site of the ble hardened antenna was first observed being emplaced 6.
