An antenna farm, not previously reported, is located on fairly level
terrain approximately 3.7 statute miles southeast of Stargard, Poland,
in the vicinity of Hansfelde. It occupies an area of approximately 42
acres (1, 500 by 1, 350 yards), which is neither fenced nor secured by
guard towers. The site is serviced by a loose-surfaced, all-weather
road and a power line from Stargard_
. The antenna farm contains at least 72 poles which are paired to make
up 36 antenna supports, 32 of which. are 75 feet in height and four of which
are 50 feet in height. The two poles making up each support are joined by
three pairs of horizontal cross-members. The design of the supports
indicates that each group of two suspends a high-frequency curtain array
consisting of a radiator and a. reflector. The long axis of each group is
oriented in a southwest/northeast direction. Feed lines can be observed
leading from the antenna groups to a central control building. This flat-
roofed, multistory buildirg is "T" shaped, with the stem 110 by 55 feet
and the bar 210 by. 55 feet, and has a tower at the point where the stem
joins the bar. Around the control b'.:ilding there are approximately 11
smaller support/storage buildings .
Along the east and west extremities of the farm are many ground scars
and slim stick masts which parallel the antenna groups described above.
The quality of the photography is such as to permit a more detailed
rnretation,
