General Army requirements, Navy DNI Project 412-60, and NSA/GENS-
~A/R5-60 requesting detailed.irformation on two rhombic sites north-
east of Chkalov, USSR.

REMARKS:
two communications stations with
rhombic antennas approximately 5 nautical miles northeast of Chkalov, USSR,
and one nautical mile apart (see Figures 1 and 2). The stations (here arbi-
trarily labeled A and B) are not connected and each is ser`-ed by secondary
road only. Station- A, located at 51?51'N/55?08'E, has fot r double rhombic
antennas and several stick masts (see Figure 3). Station ls3 is located at
51?51'NI /55?11'E and has two single rhombic antennas -and il2 stick masts
(see Figure 4).

Data on the rhombics at Station A are given in Table 1 )(numbers are
keyed to Figure 3). Two of the stick masts (item 5), ? feet high and 150 feet
apart, probably support a horizontal wire antenna. Rhombic data for Station
B are given in Table 2 (numbers are keyed to Figure 4).- the 12 stick masts
(item 3) have-an average height of 50 feet. The azimuth oientations of all
the rhombics are plotted on Figure 1.
