imately 46?55'N/?0?IO'E, ?.bout 160 nautacal miles ~avest-~o.rthwest of
Sary Shagan, USSR is the result of a preliminary photographic analysis.
The facility consists of three tracking ddevices, a probably microwave
communications antenna, and ahousing/support area containing about
20 buildings. The three tracking devices-are: an interferometer-type
site under construction, a TOKEN-type radar, and three Einstrumenta-
tion buildings with 2(J-foot-diameter domes in a fenced area. The _
interferometer-type site is enclosed by a circular ground scar and a
fence; centered within the site is aground scar forming a plus configu-
ration. Each of the four legs of the plus measures app:ro~simately 205
feet in length. This facility is approximately 20 nauticalmiles south
of the facility identified in CIA/PIC/JB-68/60_ t

NOTE: Because of the poor quality of base maps o~E this area and
the scattered cloud cover on the photography, it is emph$sized that the
geographic positioning of this facility is only approximat(;' at this time.
