Photography of shows, in addition to the 16 sites iden-
tified in ODE 8005 (Figure 1, items 1-16), the presence of a hexagon-type
surface-to-air missile (SAM) site and a SAM support facility, under construc-
tion, located south of Saratov, USSR, and a SAM support facility located
northeast of Kuybyshev, USSR. 25X1A
The SAM site at Saratov is loca e nm south of the city at 510191N/
46?00'E (Figure 1, item 17). Construction of both the operational and support
areas appears complete. The operational area contains guidance revetments,
six launch revetments, three drive-through missile hold revetments, and a
vehicle park with five utility-type vehicles . No missiles, launchers, or
guidance equipment have been identified at the site. The support area contains
a large administration-type building, three barracks, and numerous smaller
structures. 25X1A
The SAM support facility which is in ate stages of construction near
Saratov is located 8. 6 nm southeast of the city at 5$?24'N/46?09'E (Figure 1,
item C). It contains similar structures and is approximately the same size as
the missile support facility near the Lenin Hydroelectric Station and Dam

(Figure 1, item A) 1 /. This facility contains a drive-through building under
construction, rune large and two small revetted buildings, a small revetted
storage areas and five small buildings. It does not contain any operational-
type equipment;
The SAM support facility near Kuybyshev is located 8.5 razz northeast
of the city at 53?17'N/50?17'E (Figure 1, item 3). It contains structures
similar to those at the Saratov SAM support facility, but it is much larger
in area. This facility contains 23 canvas-covered missiles on transporters,
a large drive-through building, one large and two small revetted buildings,
a small revetted storage area, and numerous other buildings and vehicles.
