IN THE VORKUTA/POLARNYY URAL `.AREA, USSR
This brief is in response to a request for a search for missile-asso-
ciated facilities in the Vorkuta/Polyarnyy Ural area of the USSR (Figure
25X1 D 1). The area was covered by KEYHOLE photography of good
PI quality. A search from Salekhard (66-33N 66-34E) northward to Khal'-
mer-Yu (67-57N 64-45E) revealed no missile-associated activity or evi-
dence of defensive measures.
