CELLULOSE AND CHEMICAL COMBINE
The Amursk Cellulose and Chemical Combine (5O-13N 136-53E) is
located at Amursk, USSR, 19 nautical miles south-s8uthwest of Komso-
molsk on the left bank of the Amur River. This plant was reported to be
under construction here in 1958, 1/ and was scheduled to be in full
operation by 1965. 2/

..of the areas seen earlier, plus tMEP reas (A, B, and C). No
identification can be made of the activity here, except that the street
pattern of one area (C) is typically residential and another area (A) has
two entering rail spurs.
A new rail line has been reported constructed 3/ and its alignment
appears to parallel the aforementioned partially finished vehicular road
(see Figure 2) .
