This report presents the results of a search
for ICBM activity along all rail lines in the
USSR covered by photography from KEYHOLE
and explained
J, 2/, 3/, 4/ These
reports had graphic supplements consisting of
overlays to World Aeronautical Charts (W ACs)
which showed the rail lines searched with neg-
ative results and indicated the location of all
ICBM launch complexes identified to date. The
applicable KEYHOLE mission and pass number
on which the rail lines were covered were
indicated on the overlays.
The search of Missions
required the revision of 53 WAC overlays, out
of a total of 67 overlays needed to show all
connecting rail lines known - to exist in the
USSR. These 53 overlays are included in the
Graphic Supplement to this report.* As pre-
viously, the mission and pass number are in-
dicated on the overlays. The total length of
Soviet rail line searched on
for ICBM activity with negative
results, in accordance with established criteria,
Copies of the Graphic Supplement have been forwarded to
the CIA requester and to the TALENT Control Officers
of the Army, Navy, Air Force, DIA, and NSA. Further
rt+production and dissemination of these overlays to
subordinate commands will be the responsibility of these
agencies.
