An unusually large and elaborate crop research installation was found five nm SE of the center of the city. It consists of a COMOR No: None NPIC/R -1391 /63 walled area, approximately 1,500 by 650 ft, divided into rows of cereal crops (Figure 1). An administration building and four large sheds are located in the center of the area. The site bears a striking resemblance to crop research facilities at University Farms, Davis, Calif., where experiments in crop diseases have been conducted. FIGURE 7.
