Numerous collateral reports (see CIA
Industrial Register files 6208651, 0001567,
620865b, 6026565)
Chang-chun, China, have led to a scan of pho-
tography of this city and. its environs for evi-
dence of such activity.
An unusually large and elaborate crop
research installation was found five nm SE
of the center of the city. It consists of a

walled area, approximately 1,500 by 650 ft,
divided into rows of cereal crops (Figure 1).
An administration building and four large
sheds are located in the center of the area.
The site bears a striking resemblance to
crop research facilities at University Farms,
Davis, Calif., where experiments in crop
diseases have been conducted.
