These sites An analysis of these 12 SA-3 sites (Table 1) and 2 additional sites in the Leningrad area reveals that 4 of the Leningrad SA-3 sites studied have towers in the centrally located probable guidance areas (Figure 1). At each of these 4 sites an additional tower or possible tower was observed located to the rear of the operational area. A perspective sketch of a representative SA-3 site in the Leningrad area (Figure 2) gives a concept of the relationship of the towers to the site launch area. A line drawing and photograph of Lenin- grad SA-3 Site D-30 (Figure 3) show the distance between the towers and their location with respect to other facilities within the site. Possible towers were observed at Leningrad SA-3 Site D-32, Moscow SA-3 Sites E-28 and E-29, and Klaipeda SA-3 Site A-17.
