Two large revetments have been observed
at Brest SA-2 SAM Site A-03 on KEYHOLE
and
One, 90 by 70 feet,
is located 625 feet NE of the center of the site;
the other, 90 by feet, is located580 feet ENE
of the center oft a site. They are 130 feet apart
center to center. Both revetments are rectangu-
lar, with the shorter sides toward the SAMsite,
and drive-through, being served by a road from
the site circular road. Construction in the area
of the revetments was observedon Missioi
Brest SA-2 SAM Site A-03 is located 9 nm
NNE of Brest. The site, which has a modified
"link" configuration, was complete when identi-
fied on KEYHOLE photography from Mission
late:
August 1963
The site appears to be fully equipped with
launchers and guidance and support equipment.
It has 3 missile-hold revetments, one of which
appears to be under construction and another of
which is either covered or contains a building
50 by-feet.
The site support area is approximately 1,600
feet WSW of the center of the site and contains
one building by 55 feet, one building 70 by
30 feet, and 4 buildings 70 by 35 feet. A pos-
sible building or wall 90 bMfeet is also in the
area; a similar structure has been observed at
Brest SA-2 SAM Site A-11.
Two possible vehicle revetments, 55 by 25
feet, are approximately 1,100 feet west of the
center of the site and are servedby_a road from
the support area.
