A new probable static test facility for
explosives or solid propellants has been ob-
served at an industrial complex 7 nm north
of Sterlitamak, USSR. The complex was first
observed in an early stage of construction in
IJ, and it now appears complete.
The probable test facility consists of a
firing bay, a bunker against which a hori-
zontal blast is probably directed, and an H-
shaped support building (Figure 1).

facility is almost identical to a facility at
Perm, USSR, which has one firing bay
and to one bay of the test facility at Biysk,
USSR 3/. The Biysk installation contains
three firing bays and an H-shaped building.
