facility is observed at the irgp-tallation. However,
two waste dumps are- visible, and sifting and
sorting of ore on a small-scale is in progress.
Description of Facilities. The installation's
facilities are shown on Figure 2.
The mine is an oval-shaped pit measuring
1,000 by 700 feet. The mine appears to be deep,
hoisting facility is probably located in a build-
ing at the east end of the mine and hoisting
lines probably run against the pit wall. A waste
dump, measuring 800 by 800 feet, adjoins the
pit: on the west. A second waste dump, measur-
ing 800 by 400 feet, is located east of the pit.
An operations area contains approximately
five buildings which average 100 by 50 feet. The
area shows no indication of milling operations.
There is photographic evidence that sifting and
sorting of earth is performed on a limited scale
in this area. To the north of the operations area
is a possible maintenance area which contains
several small workshop-type buildings.
