Range

1. This memorandum is in response to your requirement dated 2 May 1963
requesting line drawings and dimensions of buildings and equipment of electronic
outstations in the Caspian Sea Special Test Range.
2. Line drawings of the three requested outstations were prepared from
the most recent useable coverage of the area, A 25X1 D
scale factor was obtained from TID/NPIC and approximate measurements were
'accomplished where possible by the analyst. Mensuration of buildings and
equipment was limited due to the small scale of the photography.
(a) Fort`.Shevchenko Electronic Outstation This installation is
located immediate southeast of the town of Fort Shevchenko at the following
coordinates The installation consists of three rectan-
gularly fenced areas which contain several small buildings and some unidentified
objects.which are probably vehicles and/or equipment. Approximate measurements
were accomplished on the following items (see' Figure 1).

Item 4 - 100 feet by 65 feet
