It is adjacent to Chernvakhovsk SAM Site B21-2. This SA-3 site was first 25X1 D identified on KEYHOLE photography of 25X1 D I I on which it appears in a late stage of construction. The only discernible components of the site are four revetted launch pads arranged in a trapezoidal pattern, and a central guidance area (Figure 1). No equipment is in evidence. A definite site configuration is undeterminable because no well defined internal road pattern is present. The site is oriented on an azimuth of approximately 0 Distances betweer25X.1 D launch pads are 180 and 1?5 feet.
