This report is a partial answer to DIA
requirement DIAXX 63-84, to verify the lo-
cation of selected military installations in Hun-
gary and to perform a photo analysis of these
installations to determine function, number and
dimensions of buildings, to estimate troop
capacity, to identify and describe related train-
ing areas and facilities, and to confirm or negate
ammunition and POL storage.
KEYHOLE photography of
was used to locate, identify and delineate the
boundary of the training area. No additional
information could be determined due to poor-
quality photography. No TALENT photography
covers the area. The area described below
is shown on Figure 1.

This training area, located 6 miles west
of Bugac, covers approximately 2,954 acres,
calculated on the basis of the estimated bound-
ary, and contains:
1 tank firing range 8,000 by 4,000 feet
no observed ammunition or POL storage.
