A military training area (Figure 1) is located
8.7 miles NE of the center of Petropavlovsk-
Kamchatskiv at L'TM7 571 ,.'l%007815. It covers
2,800 acres and contains one 4,050 by 6,50 ft
firing range, one 0,45( by 1,4(X) ft tank firing
range, and one 6,700 by 2,000 ft tank firing
range with a probable sub-caliber firing range
at the south end. Five small support buildings
(7,550 sq ft of floor space) are located %Nithin
the area.
