One of a group of sites deploygftfor the defense c}? Moscow.
SITE STATUS:
Probably complete and operational.-
REMARKS:
This is the first known photography from which the geographical
coordinates of Herringbone SAM Site E-29 can be accurately determined.
The site is regularly shaped and is located in a partially cleared
area on the outer herringbone defense ring. Visible service roads
indicate that the site probably has 60 launch points. A YO-YO radar
site is present. and a probable housing facility is located a short distance
? northeast of the herringbone site.
