This memorandum is in response to your requirement dated 21 January 1964, requesting a search for any missile or missile related activity along the coast of the Crimean Peninsula between Ba akiava and Tesseli. 2. Using the referenced report, NA 5901016863 (Nov 63), it was possible to determine the approximate position of the ship from which the observation of the probable missile was made. Therefore, the search area can be narrowed down to a five nautical mile stretch of-coastline located about -six nautical miles southeast of Balaklava. A thorough search of good qua3-1ty. clear KEYHOLE 25X1 D photography of revealed no missile activity along the coastal area between Balaklava and Tesseli. 25X1A 3.
