1.e This memorandum is in response to the above referenced requirement
requesting a detailed photo analysis, using comparative photo coverage, of
the Port Wallut Port Facilities.
2. Port Wallut is the northern most North Viet-Nam Port and is located
on northern side of Ile De He Bad (island) at 21012'N/107032'E. This port
has limited facilities and does not appear to be expanding, as no construction
activity was noted.

piers, each approximately 13
ong, of berthing space, one nT? head pier extending approximately 150 feet from the
shore line with 400 feet of berthing space across the head of the "T", one
warehouse approximately 140 by 55 feet, and an open storage area associated
with the wharf.
Docked at the wharf are two coastal freighters, one is appro-ximately
120 feet long and the other is approximately 130 feet long. The "T" head pier
does not have any vessels docked at it and is usable only by small vessels, as
the pier is located in shallow water. The two piers, which are associated with
the warehouse, each have six "swratoti" PF class vessels docked at them.
CIL
The numerous buildings lining the coast do not appear to be part of
facilities. However, their actual function can not be determined
