1. This memorandum is in answer to referenced requirement concerning
the possible existance of a radar plant in Tai-Yuan, China.
2.1 The search for a possible radar plant in Tai-Yuan was in]
Cabrication industries, some of which are similar in plant layout and building
design to known radar plants in China; however, without the presence of radar
and electronic equipment an accurate identification is not possible. This require-
ment should be resubmitted, when additional photographic-coverage of the search
area has been obtained.
The search area consisted of a 30 nm
radius extending from Tai-Yuan City Center. The city of'Tai-Yuan has many light
