The Novosibirsk area was searched for a radius of more than 50 1. This memorandum is in response to your requirement dated 20 February 1964 which requests a search within 50 nautical miles of Novosibirsk, USSR for High Frequency antenna arrays similar to those identified at I.pichi, Razdolnoye and Ulyanovka, USSR and described in NPIC/R-60/64 (Jan-64)., Also it was requested that an examination be made of a specific communication facility at Khabarovsk (48-34-1ON 135-04-50E) for any evidence of construction nautical miles on cloud-free photography obtained from the VLF Goliath site at Vileyka, USSR was identified under construction 70 nautical miles northeast of Novosibirsk at 55-45-30N 81+-27-30E. Details of this newly identified installation have been disseminated by cable. Although no installations of the type refere'neea we e identifie as a result of this search, a communications site similar to a portion of 3.
