SUBJECT Search for the Lung-Wang-Miao, Hydro-electric Power Plant,

1. In response to the above referenced requirement, a search of avail-
able photography was undertaken in an attempt to locate and describe the re-
ported Ling-Wang-Miao Hydro-electric Power Plant. -
2. The results of the search proved to be ative. All available photo-
graphy was scanned for this facility. KEYHOLE
was the best quality, cloud free photography of the search area. A p o o-Mosaic
of the search area (see figure 2) was prepared for your use as a record of the.
reported location and its.environs.
3. The reported location of the power plant (L255N-12(O5E) is indicated
on both enclosed graphics. There was no indication of any dam nor was there
any evidence of any construction activity that could be associated with a struct-
ure of this type within a 30 nautical mile radius of the location.
The reported site is located within the reservoir area of the Feng-Man-
Tsun Hydro-electric Power Plant and Dam. There is a highway bridge and several
small villages clearly vfcsible near the reported location. None of the activity
evident in this area, could be construed as construction type.

The reservoir behind the Feng-Man-Tsun Dam is probably still filling up
because it has not reached the heights indicated on current maps. The only change
observed on the rivers emptying into the reservoir is at the city of Hua-Tien,
here the river meanders were re-aligned and a high levee was contructed to pro-
