Launch Area No 3 is located 14.4 nm to the north of the field site. Launch Areas No 1, 2, and 3 are oriented on azimuths of 220 degrees. A probable rail-to-road transfer point for Launch Areas No 1, 2, and 3 is at Chudnov rail yard, 14.6 nm northwest of the field site. The railroad yards at Berdichev probably are utilized by the field site. An improved road leads from the railroad yards to the field site via the Berdichev Airfield. The fixed field site (Figure 2) consists of a looped road pattern with two parallel launch clearings integral with the roads. The launch clearings are on an azimuth of 220 degrees and are spaced approximately 550 feet apart. No equipment or supporting facilities are evi- dent at the field site. ? TOP SECRET RUFF TOP.
