It is situated in a partially wooded area 14 nautical miles (nm) north of the complex support facility (Figure 1). The launch area was first seen in 25X1 D 25X1 D A single security fence is visible on three sides of the launch site. There are three images on each pad. It is possible the shelter has been moved to the right of the erector, and the third image (square) is toward the forward edge of the pad. One large earth-banked missile-ready building, canted outward about 30 degrees, is 600 feet behind the right pad, and a narrower earth-banked missile-ready building, canted outward about 45 degrees, is 600 feet behind the left pad. Four canted buildings, 2 large center buildings, and 4 other structures between the pads are earth mounded. 25X9 25X9 The site support. facility, about 3,600 feet northwest of the launch site, contains an admin- istration and housing section and a housing section. The administration and housing section contains 21 buildings, including 8 barracks-type buildings and a probable heating plant. Three areas of unidentified activity are east of the administration and housing section, and a ground scar leads north-northwest from the adminis- tration and housing section to 2 semiburied tanks and 3 small structures located just north of the housing section. The housing section con- tains 21 buildings, including one building 240 by 45 feet and 6 barracks-type buildings. It appears that several. buildings, including one building 240 by 45 feet and one barracks-type building, have been removed from the housing section since A power trace is discernible about 2,000 feet west of the site support facility. 25X1 D TOP SECRET RUFF TOP SECRET RUFF 25X1 D N LAUNCH SITE Pad orientation 30" 5` Pad separation 980' 1 Missile-ready building 170' x 105' 1 Missile=ready building 170' x 60' 1 Center building 140' x 50' 1 Center building 110' x 40' 4 Canted buildings 90' x 30' 1 Building 80' x 45' 2 Buildings 45' x 45' SITE SUPPORT FACILITY ADMINISTRATION AND HOUSING SECTION HOUSING SECTION 7 Buildings 140' x 45' 1 Building 240' x 45' 1 Building 110' x 85' 6 Buildings 110' x 30' 1 Building 110' x 30' FIGURE 1.
