Guantanamo Naval Base water cut-off. ANNUAL HAVANA PARADE In addition to the equipment observed in the annual Havana parade of 1963, the FROG trans- porter-launcher, the Snapper launch vehicle, the ZSL!-57 /2 self-propelled gun and the P-15 (Ko- mar-class) Missile were identified on ground photography of the 1964 parade. The ZSU-57/2 has yet to be identified on high altitude photog- raphv. Since the parade, the Snappers have been removed from the major camps and are -no longer associated with related vehicles. Because high altitude photography does not allow positive identification of Snappers, they are being re- ported as BRIt\1 APC. CRUISE MISSILE ACTIVITY The only unusual activity observed at the cruise missile sites during this time period was at Santa Cruz del Norte Cruise Missile Site. It consisted of vacating the launch revetments and parking the launchers, missile transporters and other vehicles just S\1' of the site. The next day the site was reoccupied and operational. During this time period, canvas- and net-covered areas and vehicles were observed periodically in an open area 0.5 nm west of Guerra Cruise Missile Storage. This is similar to some of the exercises at Mavari Arriba Cruise Missile Activity, but a cruise missile has not yet been observed at Guerra. SAM SITE ACTIVITY No site movements, establishm_nts or aban- donments occurred during this period; however, additional launchers and F:\NSONG radars were observed at several of the S.\\1 Sites. In late SECRET 25X1 D January, Camaguey SAM Site had four additional launchers parked in the area. Yhrough- only two additional launchers were 25X1 D normally observed at the site.. Two additional launchers were observed at the Matanzas SAM Site on- but have not been seen since. 25X1 D MANAGUA LA SA LU0. SAN JULIAN 25X1 D Two additional.launchers and an additional FAN SONG radar were observed at Managua, Sagua la Grande, La Salud, Santiago de Cuba, San Julian and Camaguey SAM Sites beginning in hrough the end of the month (See Figures 1 and 2). _-SAGUA LA GRANDE Six SA-2 launchers were observed at 25X1 D Torrens SAM Assembly Area on- and two were observed periodically in 25X1 D tional missile canisters and vehicles were added to Torrens. Six launchers were also observed at Santiago de Las Vegas SAM Assembly Area 25X1 D No activity was observed at the offensive missile sites during this period. Remedios IRBM Site, Sagua la Grande MRBM Site 1, and San Cristobal V1 BM Sites 1 and 2 are almost overgrown by vegetation. 25X1 D Two SA-2 launchers were observed at Holguin Airfield on probably in transit, and were not observed here again. Other activity was the introduction of aircraft shipping SANTIAGO DE CUBA -C N-D152 (5/561 FIGURE 1.
