The series is being coordinated, published and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic analysis is being performed by the Nf'IC Photographic Analysis Group, the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production Center 1Plc (1)IA.). The photographic analysis for this particular re- port was performed by the NP1C Photographic Analysis Group. In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report. H ROGAC - Road o KILOMETERS 30 15* TOP SECRET CHESS RUFF TOP SECRET CHESS RUFF The Rogachev Petroleum Products Storage Area is located in the northern part of Rogachev (53-05N 030-03E), adjacent to the west side of the Mogilev-Zhlobin rail line. The area is served by a rail siding, with off-loading facilities for handling petroleum products, and by urban streets. The POL storage area, which covers four acres and is enclosed by a wall, contains seven vertical and five horizontal liquid storage tanks, a prepared base for an additional vertical tank, 25X1 D five shed-type storage buildings, and twogable- roofed storage/support buildings. One support building, probably. for off-loading, at-the rail siding, connects with the storage area by road and possibly by a pipeline. The area was covered by TALENT mis- sions in and by KEYHOLE missions between KEY- HOLE photography confirms the instal25j>4rf3 D; active but scale and photo quality preclude additional interpretation. Railroad Service The installation is adjacent to the Mogilev- Zhlobin rail line. The siding which directly serves the area is part of the Rogachev rail yard, which is approximately 3,400 by 125 feet and has at least five tracks. One flat-roofed, 100- by 25-foot shed probably houses facilities to handle petroleum products. Road Service Urban streets provide access to the area. 1B POL Storage Area Area G contains one 30-foot, two 25-foot, two 20-foot and two 15-foot diameter cylindrical, vertical tanks. It also contains five horizontal blimp tanks, three in diameter by 20 feet long, one 10 feet in diameter by 25 feet long, and one 10 feet in diameter by 35 feet long.
