?1. This memorandum is l ixi 'response' "to your request =to determine the
.alignment and status of ro ad?construction.in South-Central Tibet and the
Nepalese Border in the general area between Ti.ngri Dzong, Jongkha-Dzong
and Katmandu.
2. The enclosed annotated maps
show the alignment and general road . con i.on o e two propose routes
from Tibet through Kodari and Rasua G4ri to Katmandu.
3. It is impossible to determine the completion date-from photography:
However, at one' point on the route from :jpngkha
25X1 construction status' appeared to remain upchanged 25X1
The other proposed route from Tingri Dzong to Katmandup eared..
to be pro ressi slow : However, several bridges had been finished
