The series is being coordinated, published and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group, the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production Center iPic (DIA). The photographic. analysis for this particular re- port was performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group. In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report. Titles and letter designators for the various facilities are as follows: (A) railroad service, (B) road service, (C) landing strips, (D) administrative and troop housing areas, (E) storage areas, (F) am- munition storage areas, (G) POL storage areas, (H) other buildings and facilities, (J) equipment storage/maintenance areas, (K) athletic fields, (L) small arms firing ranges, (M) driver training areas, (N) tank/ assault gun firing ranges, (P) flat trajectory firing ranges, (Q) artillery emplacements (batteries), (R) infantry or combined arms field train- ing area or courses, (S) special training facilities, (T) unidentified facilities or tracking activity. TOP SECRET DESCRIPTION OF INSTALLATION Railroad Service The Osipovichi-Bobruysk rail line passes 400 meters north, but no spurs enter the area. Road Service .An all-weather primary road provides access to Osipovichi. Administrative and Troop Housing Areas Area Dl (Figure 3) contains one admin- istration building, seven multistory barracks, and one support building. Area D2 contains ten barracks and four support buildings. Area D3 contains 13 barracks. The multistory barracks and the adminis- tration building appear to be occupied and well kept. However, the barracks in Areas D2 and D3 appear to have a low level of usage. Area E2 contains four storage buildings and one support building. Equipment Storage/Maintenance Areas Area J1 contains one 1,200- by 420-foot vehicle park which does not appear to be oc- cupied. Area J2 contains two vehicle sheds 125 by .50 feet and 120 by 60 feet. Area J3 contains one 600- by 630-foot vehicle park, two 115- by 50-foot vehicle sheds and three support buildings. Area J4 contains one 400- by 360-foot vehicle park, two 250- by 50-foot vehicle sheds and one support building. Area J5 contains one 300- by 320-foot vehicle park, two 140- by 50-foot vehicle sheds and two support buildings. The level of activity in these areas appears reduced. Athletic Field General Storage Areas Area K is an active athletic field. Area El contains two storage buildings and Small Arms Firing Ranges one support building. Area L1 contains a 660- by 45-foot range.
