The series is being coordinated, published and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group, the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production Center 1Pic (DIA). The photographic analysis for this particular re- port was performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group. In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report. Titles and letter designators for the various facilities are as follows: (A) railroad service, (B) road service, (C) landing strips, (D) administrative and troop housing areas, (E) storage areas, (F) am- munition storage areas, (G) POL storage areas, (H) other buildings and facilities, (J) equipment storage/maintenance areas, (K) athletic fields, (L) small arms firing ranges, (NI) driver training areas, (N) tank/ assault gun firing ranges, (P) flat trajectory firing ranges, (Q) artillery emplacements (batteries), (R) infantry or combined arms field train- ing area or courses, (S) special training facilities, (T) unidentified facilities or tracking activity. 25X1 TOP SECRET TOP SECRET F--] 25X1 25X1 Zhabinka POL Storage PUG is located immediately south-southwest of Zhabinka on the south side of the Brest-Zhabinka rail line (Figure 1). The installation is served by a rail spur from the Brest-Zhabinka rail line. An all- weather secondary road provides access to Zhabinka. A probable docking facility is located at the eastern section of the area on the Mukhavets river. The secured installation (Figures 2 and 3) covers approximately 70 acres and contains 10 POL tanks (two of which are underground), one multistory barracks/administrative building, two multistory barracks, 10 support buildings, and an athletic field. missions 25X1 25X1 25X1 diameter, two POL tanks 30 feet in diameter, and two underground POL tanks 50 feet in diameter. Fourteen rail tank cars were observed I I the area. Other Buildings and Facilities There are 10 support buildings scattered throughout the area and two probable docks on the Mukhavets river. Roads leading to the prob- able docks indicate the POL storage area is also served by water transportation. Athletic Field Area K is an athletic field. 25X1 Railroad Service The area is served by a rail spur from the Brest-Zhabinka rail line which forms two sub- spurs within the installation. Road Service An all-weather secondary road provides access to Zhabinka. Administrative and Troop Housing Area Area D (Figure 3) contains one multistory barracks/administrative building and two multi- story barracks.
