A munitions storage site is located 6.5 nm
west of the town of Shang-jao, China (Figure 1).
The site measures approximately 9,000 by 4,000
feet and is situated in mountainous terrain 2 nm
SSW of the Shang-jao Army,Barracks and Head-

None of the buildings are revetted; however,
they are situated in terrain that provides
natural blast protection. Adjacent service
aprons permit easy access to the buildings.
The number of doorways in each building can-
not be determined. One,storage building (item
5) has a single, low, gable-type roof ventilator
(Figure 3).
A storage area formed by an overhanging
