This report is one in a series on Soviet Ground Force and Logistic
installations' being prepared for a DIA/CI;\ Panel. The series is being
coordinated, published and disseminated by 9PIC. 9ie photographic
analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysi.,i; Group,
the CIA Photographic-'Inrelligence f)idlsTon (NPIC'), 5n the 'P'roduction
Center 1PIc (DIA). The photographic analysis for this particular re-
port was performed by the Product ion Center I P I c.
In the interest of uniformity, the titles ,~nd letter designators for
the facilities observed at these installations are id~tical with those
appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not
observed belch its title and letter designator are omitted in the report.

Novograd-Volynskiy Army Barracks South-
east, on the east side of Novograd-Volynskiy
(Figure 1) covers approximately 475 acres
and is road served.
The installation (Figures 2 and 3) contains
23 multistory barracks buildings, nine barracks,
11 multistory administration buildings, one
multistory probable hospital building, 21 ad-
ministration buildings, two vehicle maintenance
buildings, nine vehicle storage buildings, 35
storage buildings, five probable ammunition
storage buildings in two separate secured areas

and 18 support buildings.
The trainin~. facilities include a driver-
training course with a figure-8 turning circle,
nine smLiI arms ranges of various sizes and one
athletic field. Other training facilities are

Road Service A
All-weather roads serve the installation.
Aircraft Landing Strip
A possible sod airstrip for light aircraft
has an approximately 2,500-foot runway.

nine single-story barracks, one multistory ad-
ministration building, six single-story admin-
istration buildings, and sevemstoragebuildings._

210 by 60 feet.
Area 1.3 contains four small arms ranges,
two 430 by 60 feet and two 330 by 220 feet.
Driver Training Area
Area M is a figure-8 turning circle used
with a small incornpleted driver training course.
