This report is one in a series on Soviet Ground Force and Logistic
installations being prepared for a DI:\ !CI:\ Panel. The series is being
coordinated, published and disseminated. by NPIC. The photographic
analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic :Analysis Group,
the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (\PIC:), and the Production
Center 1Plc (DI:A). The photographic analysis for this particular re-
port was performed by the Production Center 1Plc.
In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for
the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those
appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not
observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report.
Titles and letter designators for the various facilities are as
follows: (:A) railroad service, I3) road service, (C) landing strips,
(D) administrative and troop housing areas, (l_) storage areas, (F) am-
munition storage areas, (G) POL storage areas, (1-1) other buildings and
facilities, (J) equipment storage 'maintenance areas, (K) athletic fields,
(L) small arms firing ranges, (\1) driver training areas, (\) tank
assault gun firing ranges, (P) flat trajectory firing ranges, (Q) artillery
emplacements (batteries), (R) infantry or combined arms field train-
ing areas or courses, (S) special training facilities. (T) unidentified
facilities or tracking activity.

This partially fenced military barracks
area is located in the northern section of the city
of Mikhaylovka (Figure 1).
The installation covers approximately 100
acres and contains 2 multistory administration
buildings, 8 probable barracks, 6 probable de-
pendents quarters, one probable hospital, 8 prob-
able storage buildings, 4 vehicle/maintnance
sheds, and 11 probable support buildings. The
south end of the installation is secured by a
fence (Figures 2 and 3).
Between
missions covered this installation. Com-
parative analysis reveals no change in or around
the installation.
The Sukhov-Troitskiy rail line runs along
the west side of the installation.
The installation is served by a primary road
-which extends northeast to Sebrovo.
Area D2 contains 3 multistory probable
barracks, 6 probable dependents quarters, 2
probable storage buildings, and 2 probable sup-
port buildings.
Area D3 contains 2 multistory probable
barracks, 1 multistory administration build-
ing, 2 vehicle/maintenance buildings, 3 probable
storage buildings, and 5 probable support
buildings.
Area D1 contains 3 multistory probable
barracks, 1 multistory administration building,
I probable hospital, 3 probable storage buildings,
2 vehicle/maintenance sheds, and 4 probable
support buildings.
Area G contains 9 POL storage tanks and
3 support buildings.
